Responsibilities

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a strong area of emphasis and investment by Noblis. Our focus is on rapidly delivering leading edge IoT systems, solutions, and capabilities to advance our client's missions. Noblis maintains an IoT Lab where we are developing innovative IoT technologies involving smart cities, building infrastructure, industrial control systems, embedded systems, and mobile devices. This position will serve as Noblis' Technical Subject Matter Expert on IoT and function as a technical lead for IoT focused research projects. 

 

Responsibilities include managing Noblis' Internet of Things lab environment and working with Principal Investigators to provide the technical oversight and leadership to IoT R&D projects. This candidate will provide thought leadership in the IoT domain and lead technical sessions to generate novel, creative, and innovative ideas and concepts that have the potential to advance the state of the art for our clients.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a TS/SCI clearance in order to be considered for this role.
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in a science or technical field such as engineering, software development, or computer science Strong background and understanding of the IoT environment to include commercial IoT platforms and technologies
  • Knowledge of the IoT device landscape and the associated communications protocols and frequencies
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Vulnerability Research, Penetration Testing, Reverse Engineering, Software Development, Hardware Development, Specialized Tool Development, or Radio Frequency (RF)
  • Ability to lead systems engineering efforts integrating multiple systems and technologies
  • Understanding of computer languages such as Python, Java, or C+

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community clients
  • Technical expertise combined with strong business acumen
  • Relationships with government organizations, commercial industry partners, or academic institutions
  • Experience taking capabilities from concept into development and commercialization
  • M.S. Degree in science or technical field
