    Responsibilities

    Noblis ESI is hiring a Systems Administrator with a Top Secret/SCI clearance to work in Warner Robins, GA.

     

    The Program:

    The Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) is a weapons system which produces military intelligence collected by systems such as: the RQ-4 Global Hawk, MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1 Predator.  It consists of computer hardware and software connected together in a computer network, devoted to processing and dissemination of information such as images.  The successful candidate will support the program office during the system life cycle by providing technicial assistance to include efforts that support or contribute to improved performance of the organization; program/project management; engineering process management; project monitoring and reporting; data collection; performance auditing; administrative technical support.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Must have and maintain a DOD Top Secret/SCI clearance
    • Minimum of 4 Years experience as a Windows Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator

    • Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or equivalent

    • Candidates must be actively 8570 compliant (Sec+ce, CISSP, etc)

    • Understanding of MS Windows fundamentals and concepts: Windows, and VMware virtualization administration and support

    • Strong general IT and Data Center knowledge and experience

    • Light travel required

    Other required knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • Experience with installation of software, updates and security patches, support to application support specialists, and monitoring of systems and log files to ensure appropriate server resource availability

    • Experience in resolving issues related to Break-fix Performance tuning and deployments

    • Possess knowledge of systems administration principles, computer hardware and computer software

    • Possess the skills necessary to provide engineering support and systems administration for development of detailed hardware, software, and firmware designs for integrated computer systems

    • Able to review the need for new integrated computer equipment and make recommendations for additional equipment to support new, increased or future systems administration requirements

    • Able to monitor and gather, measure and analyze IT and Service Desk performance measurement data for evaluation of operational systems to establish requirements for service improvements, modification or replacement

    • Expected to seek and assume higher levels of technical responsibility, manage time effectively across more than one initiative, and apply sound technical judgment

    • Must be able to demonstrate relationship building and team-oriented skills

    • Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills
