Noblis is hiring a Graphic Artist to work in Reston, VA.
We are seeking someone who will fill the title of Business Development Graphic Artist. This individual will have mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and advanced ability in MS Office as a minimum. Proven experience and effectiveness creating and integrating graphics throughout the business development lifecycle, from marketing, capture to proposals. Significant interaction with internal Noblis customers is required, as is the ability to communicate and iterate graphics with teams to meet customer and solicitation requirements. The ability to work on multiple projects, conceptualize and design solutions from concept to completion, and meet tight deadlines is required.
The job will support Noblis’ Business Development and Proposal Center staff and their varied workload. Tasks will include creative design and layout work following corporate branding styles; providing desktop publishing support to proposals and other writing projects, and as needed by the marketing department, creating new collateral materials such as datasheets, brochures, postcards, and tradeshow materials. Graphics skills require advanced capability in Illustrator, as well as proficiency in PhotoShop and InDesign.
At least 5 years of experience in graphic design. Ability to edit or write would be a plus. Artistic design/creative skills combined with the ability to use Creative Suite 6, particularly Illustrator. Ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Office, including styles and templates in Word.
Work must be done in a timely manner and according to specifications. The person filling the position must have mastery of the software described above and be able to perform assigned tasks easily and efficiently, while utilizing professional communication skills and being able to work with multiple capture and proposal teams.
Must be willing to learn the Shipley business development and proposal process.
